Small Group - Loneliness

****This group's first meeting is September 30, 2022 @ 7:30 PM**** Loneliness can be a suffocating experience that brings with it much pain. Loneliness is a human response to being alone because God created humans with a need for relationships. Loneliness brings with it a negative feeling of being disconnected from others and causes a person to feel alienated. Let's be honest, human beings are created to be in relationships and we need attachment and connections with others. We all were made with the need for intimacy with God and intimacy with other people. How many of us have been in a big gathering of people and felt the sting of loneliness which almost, and at times, brought us to tears. For many of us, we find ourselves lonely due to many decisions that we make out of fear and pain. Once we begin that path, we find ourselves alone and feeling the sting of loneliness every day of our life. You can find a path to freedom when you join a small group and learn, grow, and heal with others who struggle with the same issue. Don't continue to hide in pain, you don't have to be alone! We will stand by you! Imagine what life could be like once you have overcome this powerful issue of loneliness and live out the life God created for you. You can find that path! Isaiah 41: 10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
