Small Group - Drug Abuse

****This group's first meeting is September 28, 2022 @ 7:30 PM**** When we talk about addictions - drug abuse is always at the top of the list. We teach that those who are struggling with this addiction need to understand two important elements. First, Jesus Christ is the Cure! If you are struggling with drug abuse in your life please understand this point: a relationship with Jesus Christ can offer HOPE and a path to freedom. Second, when a person struggles with drug addiction, they find themselves on an escape route from the pain and fears of some trauma or event that they had suffered in the past. The reason that people find recovery from either of these issues difficult is that one must resolve the pain and fear of the past and they must resolve the physical/mental reliance/addiction. There is HOPE as you can find a path to freedom if you dedicate yourself to that process. You are loved, valued, and highly cherished and we stand by you in this effort to find a life of peace and joy. I was a heroin addict and an alcoholic so I know the power of God, through the blood of Jesus Christ, empowered by the God the Holy Spirit to offer me the path to freedom and I know He desires this for you. When you are ready - We Will Stand By You! Philippians 4: 13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
