****This group's first meeting is September 30, 2022 @ 6:00 PM**** Alcoholism affects all people in every walk of life and it can have serious consequences not only on the person who is addicted to alcohol but also on their spouses and families! Alcoholism is not an isolated issue. Over 15 million people are reported to struggle with alcoholism and only approximately 10 % receive treatment. Women are not exempt from this deadly disease as over 5 million women report they are suffering from alcohol disorders. It is also a very deadly addiction. In 2018, over 10,000 people died in alcohol-related traffic accidents which were calculated to be approximately 30% of all traffic accidents. Approximately 88,000 people die from alcohol-related deaths per year. Teen alcohol deaths were reported at approximately 4700 deaths in 2018. We know the truth and it can be very painful to know you suffer from alcoholism. THERE IS HOPE AND FREEDOM! First, your true hope is found in the person of Jesus Christ! When you turn to Him, you will find the path to freedom! We will stand with you and help you with this decision. Also, though the path ahead to freedom can be difficult, we will stand with you every day in helping you in this fight. You do not need to suffer in silence! Blessings!
